Policies

Cancellations/Rescheduling:

A card on file is required at the time of booking. Clients have up to 24 hours before their scheduled appointment time to cancel or reschedule. If a client cancels or reschedules within less than 24 hours of their scheduled appointment time, their card on file will be charged 50% of the appointment cost. Clients that do not show up to their scheduled appointment without giving notice will be marked as a no-call/no-show and will no longer be able to book an appointment.  

Extra People: Please do not bring extra guests. Children are allowed if they are receiving a service.

Tuesdays/Knotless Braids: The only services that will be bookable on Tuesdays are Knotless Braids. If you book any service other than Knotless Braids on a Tuesday, your appointment will not be approved. A 30 minute meal break will be included in all knotless braid services. Knotless braids are only for ages 13+.

Tardiness:

I allow a 10 minute grace period for tardiness. If you think you‘ll be more than 10 minutes late, please contact me as soon as possible, as this may overlap onto the next client scheduled after you. You may be asked to reschedule.

Silk Press Services:

Prior to a silk press service, your hair should be free of any protective styles. This includes twist outs, braid downs, bantu knots, and any style that would not allow your hair to be readily available for shampooing. If not, you may potentially be asked to reschedule your appointment.

Color Services: 

Clients receiving a color service should come with hair clean, detangled and dry, free of any product buildup. Clients with naturally curly hair should come with hair clean and blow dried. This helps with the application process. Clients’ hair should also be free of any protective styles. This includes twist outs, braids, bantu knots, and any style that would not allow your hair to be readily available for coloring. If the client's hair is not clean, dry, detangled and free of protective styles, the client may be asked to reschedule or charged an additional fee.
